Stop the wars
Pacifism is the only thing worth fighting for
Pacifism is the only thing worth fighting for
No one knows for sure, but estimates now show that well over 1 million Ukrainian and Russian military and civilians have been killed or wounded since the beginning of the war being waged over Ukrainian soil.
I heard it said that both sides are fighting over soil that, once the war is over, neither side will have children left to dig in it.
At what point do we decide that the cost of war, monetarily but most importantly the cost of human life, is too high a price to pay?
I do not think that those who hold positions of power necessarily have the common persons best interest in mind. At best, those in power have a conflict of interest. Below I have attached a tweet that shows who in our Congress benefit monetarily from war and fears of war:
War is unacceptable. Absolute evil.

If we are going to create a world without war, it needs to come from the will of the citizens and not those who hold legislative power. We must unify globally in pacifist conversation. That we refuse to hate the other, and instead prioritize conversation with those we disagree with.
In our global age, we can usurp the power of government and take back authority over life and conflict. We no longer have to be ignorant of world affairs, but by going to the internet we might befriend those around the world rather than bomb them.
The new weapons of the modern world need to be education, conversation, and morality; not guns, ships, and fighter jets.
Don’t allow those in the media and those in power to convince you they are sending your sons and daughters and neighbors to fight and die for your good.
These innocent and normal lives of everyday individuals are being sacrificed for people in power who will hide in bunkers and a wall of bodies that they may preserve their own life and power.
Fight for peace. Make your voice be heard. Chase after a world where we take care of our neighbors, not shoot at them.
I am amazed when I hear someone pushing for war.
No one wins in war. There has to be another way.
